twitter comedy night

20.5.09

As you may already know, I'm taking part in the first ever Twitter Comedy Night; an online virtual "comedy club" in which nine comics, including myself, will deliver ten-minute sets via "tweets" (text messages of 140 characters or less).  How I'm going to get comedy songs to work in this format remains to be seen, but I'm sure I'll think of something.

It all starts at 8pm (BST) on June 8th; click here for more details.

I'm about to embark on a little mini-tour of Scotland, along with Stephen Grant and Daniel Sloss.  Click here or see the gigs page for details.

NB I'm a late replacement for Hal Cruttenden on this tour so some of the venues' websites still list him rather than me.

In the unlikely event any of you read this in time, I'm on Danny Wallace's breakfast show tomorrow on BBC 6 Music, around 9am.  In any event I'm sure it'll be available on the BBC iPlayer for seven days thereafter.

Edited to add: Yup, there it is.  My bit starts at about 2.09.
